Are you sending your child back to school?

rawanattia

Sorry if this may be a personal question! I’m genuinely curious are you sending your child back to school. If so are there any precautions that you’re taking? If not what is your view? I am asking because my sister is currently in high school and is immune compromised. With the numbers on the rise very worried about her and would like to know what my fellow internet friends are doing!

No way.

I would not recommend sending an immune compromised child back to school. Our schools just decided to send them back October 12. My neice and nephew will be going back, but since I have a 6 month old, they won't be able to come over to visit unless wearing a mask and 6 feet away. I wouldn't send them back if they were my children. It seems to risky given that other districts have had to shut back down after reopening too quickly. Virtual learning is hard, but worth it for the safety. I'm super paranoid about catching covid and don't want to put my child at risk so I avoid going anywhere if possible. My husband works and I even get paranoid about him. He had a scare at work about 2 weeks ago and I wore a mask in my house around the baby until we both got tested and came back negative. It's such a weird time.

Remote learning

I decided to keep my kiddos home for remote learning. My husband is home during the day to be with them and I work during the day.
So far its going great.
The kids miss friends but thankfully we have others near that dont go to school either so we can have play dates with others.

Sending Kids to School

My son is special needs so my reasoning may be different than others. I was worried that I would fail him if I kept him home. I worried if I was good enough to teach him. I worried I could hold his attention long enough to get through to him. So I made the choice to send him back even though I think I have a ulcer due to worrying all the time. I see the reasons on both sides which made it a hard choice for me. But so far knock on wood he hasn't gotten the virus. We remind him everyday how important it is to wash his hands and keep his mask on. Its hard to get him to wear it but he does.

Sahm

I'm a stay at home mom so it's unnecessary to send my young children to daycare.

Good luck!

If I were you, I didn't do that because living with a child is much better. Actually, I would like to say that I also want to build happy family in order to improve my personal and daily life. Accordingly, in this case I'm willing to mention this source bbw cupud where I've found my girlfriend that I'm fall in love with now. So I trulyhope that we will begin to build with her a strong family and make kids! If someone also want to have something like this, such a source is precisely for you!
