My 5 year old daughter loves the classics like Clifford, Where the Wild Things Are, and Hungry Caterpillar. She also really loves Pete the Cat, Fancy Nancy, and Pinkalicious. And of course anything Dr. Suess.
I don’t really have a favourite book to read to my grandbabies but I believe everyone should read stories to there kids and make sure to ask questions about it. make sure the kids understand imagination is great. Reading to anyone is a good thing.
My son absolutely loves twinkle twinkle little star to sing the song and read it. Just bought a twinkle twinkle little star book that sings the song.he 16 months and tries to hum it
A book called Little Owl’s Night has been one of my daughter’s favorites for a couple of years. The story is cute along with the illustrations! She’s an animal lover and it has plenty of different animals included in it.
I have a 1 year old and 3.5 year old. We will do baby board books that usually have sensory pages (touch and feel, buttons, flaps) with the little one and my older son really enjoys the very cranky bear book as well as some search and finds. A great search and find book is called “one of a kind” by Thomas Nelson.
My grandkids love when I read bedtime stories because I try to make my voice sound different with each character I read. Their favorites are The Sleeping House and all Doctor Suess books.
