Works alright

The dove lotion worked alright, however I felt I needed to keep reapplying this to my daughter. I did not like the original scent but I did like the unscented variety. I found the regular price of this product to be a little expensive.

Ce produit a été bien aimé chez nous pour mes deux enfants. Je le recommande car rends la peau douce et ainsi on évite les irritations ou la secheresse de la peau.

Not worth using

I had high hopes for this lotion. I hoped that it would be a good replacement for the regular lotion I've used for 18 years with my kids. I did not like how my twins skin felt dry and like I hadn't used lotion at all. Hopefully this will be improved because the baby wash is much better than this. I went back to the one that I've used for years.

My review is a little mixed of this product. While it isn't greasy per se, it is very heavy and has a not-nice feel to it. I used it after bathing my baby and it seemed his skin was softer just with the body wash on its own.

This lotion is as good as any other lotion I have tried. I tend to avoid putting lotion on my children unless they actually need it and so this will go a long way. It has little scent, absorbs well into the skin, but like most lotions leaves a slightly greasy feel for a while on the skin. Since my kids did not have any dry skin areas I was not able to see how well it alleviates dry skin. Given the time constraints to put in this review, I did not have an opportunity to address this issue.

I was really excited to try this out when Chickadvisor sent this to me to try out. My kids have eczema so I wasn't sure how this would work out for them. It smells really nice! A lovely fresh scent. It was a really nice and seemed to absorb easily into their skin. After it dried, however, it didn't seem to leave their skin smooth or soft. It didn't seem to absorb at all. It just sat on top of their skin and when I ran my hand over their skin, it was dry but tacky. I've never had any baby lotion do this before; very strange. Needless to say the results of this didn't work out for my kids. But on the upside it didn't aggravate their eczema:)
