    Keeps stopping

I love our large countertop Berkey water filter. I love that it removes toxins and fluoride. The main downside is that since the inside is airtight, the spout keeps stopping. It trickles so slowly because it is airtight. I love that it's airtight so that nothing can slip in there and ruin the integrity of the water, but it is frustrating when the spout stops releasing water altogether.

    Great water filter

Water quality here is terrible. Its overly chlorinated and tastes awful. With the Berkey filter, all that changes. Filters all the bad stuff out. Leaves in the good minerals, and makes it taste so much better. Even my 5 year old notices the difference and only wants to drink out of the tap! The only annoyance is that it has to sit on the counter and be manually refilled. Otherwise its an awesome unit.

This is absolutely one of the best products that I've spent my money on. It is a bit pricey at around $200 for the travel system, but it is absolutely wonderful. It clarifies the water, and for those of you that are concerned about the amount of fluoride in your water, the Berkey water system filters it all out. It filters out 99.999999% of known particles in water. In fact, if you put red food coloring in it, the Berkey system is so strong that it actually filters out the food coloring from the water.
