    nope

    okay this brand is nice.
I bought this wash not realizing it had the exfoliating beads in it. I don't find that it washes my makeup off effectively. and yes, I'm aware it's not a makeup remover. but in comparison to other cleansers, this one is nothing special.

    LOVE

This face wash has changed my entire skin care.
It has really cleared up my breakouts, and has left my skin feeling really really good and clear.
It cleans right down to the pores, and you can feel it cleaning.
It smells really good too, I love washing my face with this.
The only downside really is that I find it does mildly dry out my skin a bit, however, with use of moisturizer, I find that you cannot even tell.

Why not baking soda on the face?

This does as it says, penetrates pores and gently exfoliates. Baking soda is a great cleanser, so why not for the face. It's not harsh, and has a light sweet clean scent. It's a nice addition to my varied cleansing arsenal.

Not for my skin type, but still recommend

The only reason why the effectiveness scored a 2 was because of the way it reacted with my face. I've been struggling to find a cleanser that helps with the black heads but doesn't irritate my skin. Unfortunately, even though my face felt incredible clean after this dried my skin out, and left my face red and burning. I had my roommate try it out to see if she had the same results and she didn't it worked great for her. Although the end results didn't work for me, I do recommend it

    Good exfoliant

I use this product 3-4 times daily, not everyday because it tends to dry out the skin but it acts as a pretty good exfoliant. I use it at night after a long work day because oil and grease tends to get under the skin.

    Horrible!

I bought this product a few months ago hoping to incorporate it in my daily skincare routine to help keep it clean and fresh. I like how the cleanser was dispensed through a pump and it comes out like a foam. After using it for 2-3 days my skin looked noticeably softer and smoother. However after about a week it was starting to strip away at the skin and it made it extremely dry and irritated and I actually started breaking out. If anyone has sensitive skin like me I really do not recommend you using the cleanser, baking soda is way too strong to be used on a daily basis.

    I notice a difference immediately!

Disclaimer: I received a 30ml free sample of this product in the mail. I was not asked to write a review, nor is this review being sponsored.

The 30ml sample size was quite generous, and allowed multiple uses so I could form a highly informed opinion of the product and the results it gave my skin. I washed my face three times a week and I believe I got 12-15 uses. Thankfully, a little amount of the cleanser goes a long way, I used a dime-sized amount each time and it covered my entire face.

First off, a 200ML bottle of the Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser runs about $8.00. Biore tends to go on sale frequently at Rexall and Shoppers Drug Mart stores so you might be able to find it even cheaper. Amazon also carries this product for a little under $8.00. This is a tremendous value considering that size should last several months.

Secondly, I’m not a fan of how baking soda smells and that was a concern that was quickly addressed as this cleanser has a very pleasant fragrance. I’d place it somewhere between a floral and a sweet clean scent. The scent doesn’t remain after the product is rinsed off, however during use it can be strong if you are sensitive to scents this might be a deterrent.

Next, the texture starts out as a thick gel (like a shaving gel) with pieces of light scrubby baking soda particles but transforms into a mousse-like foam with tiny granules of baking soda. The baking soda provides a very mild scrub, so it won’t affect sensitive skin however I didn’t find it to be enough so I supplemented with a facial scrub.

Finally, the results after my first use were amazing! This is one of the few cleansers that I can actually see making a notable difference in the quality of my skin. My skin feels softer and looks fresher. I can actually see my pores looking cleaner than before I used the baking soda cleanser. My skin hasn’t developed as many breakouts as usual, and the sensitivity of my skin wasn’t affected in the slightest.

I have already gone out and purchased a full-sized bottle of this product and I notice a huge difference in my skin when I stop using it.

    biore baking soda cleanser please!

A new product to try is always something that makes me excited. This past two weeks ive been trying Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser.

I have to say that this product is something that ive been enjoying. I haven't had any break outs like most would experience when changing facial product changes.

This facial cleaner doesn't have a scent and, is a little grainy in texture. That aside it has been working wonders. Not that i am generally acne prone. I do have oily skin and i have not found my skin to be oily over the past week and a half.

At walmart it retails at $7.97 on a reglaur basis. With an approximate $1 off when on sale like it currently is this week.
    walmart web page.

    The product is described as:

With its ability to deep clean and naturally exfoliate, baking soda is your new secret weapon in the fight for clean pores. This daily liquid cleanser from Bioré removes dirt and impurities from the pore while gently exfoliating to reveal smooth, healthy-looking skin.

Great for combination skin. Hypoallergenic Dermatologist Tested.

-as noted from the walmart website (see link above)

personally i believe it hits all the marks listed. so give it a try and let me know what you think!

    Keeps my skin clear!

I swear by Biore products. I love their pore strips, astringents and cleansers. However, this is my favourite cleanser from their line. It deep cleans my skin, without drying it out and, I've found that this product is key to keeping my skin clear. I have tried 'acne-fighting, oil control' cleansers from other brands but I always found that they dried my skin or just didn't work. I have to give this cleanser all of the credit for helping me maintain clear skin (other than the occasional hormonal breakout). It has a clean scent and is gentle for everyday use, and it's very affordable and lasts for a long time. A pump bottle is a plus, so you have more control of how much you use. Love this stuff!!

    A saviour skin care product!

I received a sample of Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser, and after finishing the sample I used the coupon they gave me and bought a full bottle. This is honestly a miracle cleanser for anyone who has big pores and clogged pores. My skin has never been so clear and I have been getting non stop compliments on it! I highly recommend!
