This was the one bar I was really looking forward to. I love cherries and pomegranate so with dark chocolate I thought it was gonna be utopia! Hah, was I fooled. This bar is vile. Bitter, horrible after taste and gritty texture. Felt like the chocolate had be reheated tempered and cooled and reheated. Not a winner . I'll stick with regular dark chocolate and skip the add ins

I was given the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavour for free to taste and review. All four members of my family tried this bar and none of us liked it. I was expecting a nice tart taste from the cherries and pomegranates but it was nonexistent. There was a bit of a chewy texture from the berries which was pleasant enough however, the grainy texture of the sugar was so unpleasant, I couldn't eat anymore. The sweetness of this bar was over the top and really took away from the dark chocolate. I wouldn't have known that it was dark chocolate if I hadn't read it on the label. I definitely will not be buying this chocolate bar.
