Great doll for kids who love playing with hair

This doll is mini but so cute! The hair is extremely soft and just begs to be played with. My daughters love to twist the hair and braid it. It’s perfect for them to practice different hairstyles.

Candylocks scented surprise doll

We received this adorable doll for free from #Family Rated. She came in an adorable ice cream cone shaped package. She smells AMAZING! Her hair is super soft and long. You can braid her hair or style it in so many different ways. The only reason that I didn't give her 5 stars is because the small hair ornaments have a difficult time staying in her hair. They are tiny, and when they fall off, they are difficult to find and can get lost easily. She would be a perfect stocking stuffer for Christmas!

It’s okay!

I think the idea of the toy is cool but it’s just not functional. The hair falls out easy, it like cotton all texture, and it gets everywhere. I think the doll itself is cute, my daughter liked it a lot. But I don’t like toys that create more mess.

Cotton Candy

My daughter fell in love with candylocks. She is very flexible and lightweight. Her hair is extremely long. I thought she was going to smell like cotton candy, but she had no smell. She is very cute looks like my little girl. I would definitely buy and recommend this product.

My daughter loves it!

We were able to test out the cotton candy scented doll and my 4 year old daughter was SO excited! I let her take the doll out of the package and she loved all the little accessories she came with! She and her brothers love smelling her hair, and we gave her long hair two braids and it was really easy to do. The only downside is that the hair does collect dust and things if left on the floor.. so I have been making sure to pick her up and put her away in a good spot if I see the doll laying around. I think if we picked up another one we would have a great time playing with the two together!

Good Stocking Stuffer

My daughter really enjoyed the Candylocks doll we got. The blind bags made it a fun package to open. I appreciated the the design of the package to make it look like cotton candy.

The quality of the hair isn't amazing. It's very sensitive and breaks off easily. There are tons of ways to style it though and most of the hair accessories are cute. The smaller "gemstone" style breads that aren't meant to stick to the hair don't connect well. Taking them off shreds the doll's hair and they fall out often.

This is a good toy for a last minute birthday party gift or a stocking stuffer. Despite my criticisms my daughter really enjoys the toy and plays with it often.

Cute Hair-Play Doll

The package was a bit hard to unwrap. As soon as you cut it open, the doll comes out. I think my daughter would have enjoyed it more if she could open this on her own, like if it was bagged and mom does the hard part and she gets to do the fun part to unwrap, but the scent from the doll’s hair was a nice surprise (it says Cotton Sandy right on the package). She got a kick out of that. She’s six and enjoyed playing with her and adding the accessories to the doll’s super long hair and styling it. Those were packaged. It is a very girly toy :) The directions for the up-dos were easy to follow and my daughter enjoyed looking at the collectors chart. It would be awesome if this came with a mini box, like a tiny makeup case to keep the doll’s hair accessories in. My girl needed help with doing the styles that were pictured. It’s no mystery to what doll you were getting as it was pictured right on the package and written on the cone.

Cute, colorful and fun!

Upon receiving the Candylocks doll my daughters were very excited to open it. It is a suprise unwrap collectable doll, which my girls love! She is very cute and has super long hair. However the texture of the hair is very frizzy and we opted to braid it vs leaving it loose; the hair is also heavy, on the hair to doll ratio, it out weighs her body weight. Doll has a couple of accessories, two pin types, and 3 gems. However the gems are velcro-back and dont really stick to the hair very well.
