    Worth every penny!

Our main motivation to purchase a Casper mattress was the price! I was waking up with hip and back pain with our old mattress, and since sleeping on the Casper mattress I have not woken up in pain once!! The only complaint I have is that it had a fairly strong chemical smell to it initially.

    You'll never look back!

I recently took a trip to visit my sister for a few days, while there i was able to sleep on her Casper mattress, allowing me to see what all the hype was about.

In those couple nights, i actually wound up getting the BEST sleep I've gotten in about 7-8 years. So much so that i began dropping hints to my husband about how our Sleep Number bed just wasn't cutting it anymore. This eventually led to the best birthday gift ever- my very own Casper mattress!
When my new Casper mattress arrived I honestly thought it was a joke because the box was small and compact, I couldn't understand how a mattress would EVER fit in a box that little-but it did, due to the mattress being neatly rolled up inside.

Casper Matresses are built with not one, but four different layers of foam, along with another interior layer of two separate kinds of foam that provide added support and comfort to your most sensitive areas like your hips/shoulders. The cover is a thick, soft polyester material that fits into place both quickly and easily, and stays in place without bunching up on you. It also has a strong, sturdy zipper, so you're able to remove and wash/clean when needed. Every mattress has a top comfort layer consisting of a latex-like foam which provides some "bounce" to the bed itself, and gives off a pleasant cooling effect to ensure that you don't get too hot while sleeping- how amazing is that?!

As far as the firmness of the mattress goes, I'd say it's a little above medium firm. It's not too stiff or firm, yet not too soft or fluffy either. In my opinion, the firmness is just right. I'm able to get a good night's rest in a comfortable bed that makes me feel both secure and fully supported in every single way possible.
This mattress is perfect for all, but i feel it would be even more ideal/beneficial to those that are hot sleepers (the cooling properties in the foam will relieve the heat that's trapped), and also for those of you that may experience discomfort in your shoulders and/or hips while sleeping, due to lack of support.

I feel very comfortable recommending this mattress to my friends and family, and look forward to seeing more Casper products becoming available in the future!

    This is an amazing mattress.

We ordered this online and I was sceptical. It arrived folded and rolled in a box. Really, whoever heard of a mattress coming in a box. I have to say I get the best sleep on this memory foam mattress. It’s not hot like you’d expect. I don’t move around trying to get comfortable. We also bought the mattress protector. I have recommended this mattress to family and friends.

Our 9 year old Queen Mattress has had it, and required replacement - Other than a thin foam mattress I only spent a few weeks on years ago, I hadn't had much experience with them.

This mattress comes in a HUGE box (2'x3') - Husband was able to carry it upstairs on his own, but it required two to take it out of the box.

Pro Tip: Do NOT just open the box and pull the mattress out onto the wood slats of your bed frame - it messes up the slats, and the mattress has to come off them while you quickly attempt to replace the slats properly before the mattress fully expands!

Once the mattress was laid on the frame, it did emit a slight odour, so we just left it uncovered for a few hours while the dog took his new throne over and refused to jump off the bed.

It's lower than our old mattress by about 3-4", but for me that's great, as I'm short (5'-2"); Husband hasn't complained about the height either, and he is a foot taller than I am!

The sides are slightly soft, but not super squishy...just noticeable if you are putting excessive weight onto the sides.

For me, it is a bit denser than I would prefer, and after a few weeks, my hips have stopped aching (aka wearing in the bed), but it could definitely use a partial pillow top covering on my side.

For Husband, he likes it and says it's much more comfortable than our old mattress and it's surprisingly more comfortable than he thought it would be. He's about 230lbs, and likes the denseness of the mattress, along with not totally sinking into it like others we tested out in the stores. He also sleeps like a rock.

It's not bouncy like a coiled mattress, but seems to hold up to bedroom activities of all sorts quite well without fear of falling off the edges.

Neither of us has felt any temperature difference other than it doesn't take as long to warm up under the covers at night.

Overall, we'd definitely recommend this mattress to anyone looking into a foam mattress. Even My mother-in-law popped over for a visit, and once she laid down on the mattress she really didn't want to get up - and she's a really picky person (like my Husband) - and was also surprised at how comfortable it is and how easy to get off the mattress despite her young age of 65!
