Why did they take something perfect, and ruin it??

I have always loved Christie Crackers and cookies, but they changed the cracker recipe and they are now tasteless small cardboard squares! I am beyond disappointed! I used them for so many things, including crumbs in meatloaf, cheese and spreads, with soup, and coatings on meat. Now I’m drying bread for crumbs instead for coating. They were my go to cracker, life truly is not fair, why would they go cheap and lose all their customers, how does that save money, if that’s what the plan was, it backfired. I no longer buy anything Christie made, “Mr. Christie, you do not make a good anything!!”

Selling generic crackers under the premium plus name.

Premium Plus crackers were the best crackers out there. The light and fluffy brown top crackers are nothing more than generic cardboard garbage they are selling as Premium Plus. I have an entire box from Costco and they’ll be going back to Costco cause it’s false advertising. These crackers are absolute garbage.

Worst Cracker Ever!!

What was once the Premium Cracker is now nothing but crap you wouldn't feed to a hog. Someone in their infinite wisdom changed the recipe, probably to save 2 cents and have now destroyed the best cracker ever baked. What a shame Nabisco. You really blew it and I will not be buying this garbage again.

My sentiments are the same as all the reviews I see below. I've enjoyed these crackers for nearly 40 years. I've probably eaten over 100 000 crackers in my life easily. But a couple months ago, I noticed something had changed just by the appearance and more importantly, by taste as well. These are not the crackers I've enjoyed my entire life. The texture is horrible. They are no longer flaky but hard and brittle. The salt is nearly devoid and the taste is that of a bitter, slightly burnt cracker. I would suspect this change in recipe comes down to savings dollars and cents...and unfortunately, it will also be saving me dollars and cents as I will no longer be purchasing this product. Just bring back the old crackers. I would be wiling to pay a slightly higher price for the product. These new crackers are simply disgusting.

What happened?

What happened to the premium plus crackers? These are disgusting. Worse than any cheap brand including the dollar store brand. Why try to fix something if it's not broken? After being a life long consumer I'm done with these mushy tasteless undercooked crap. I'll be looking for another product.

You destroyed a good thing

Why would you change something that didn't need changing. Whom ever at Christie decided to change them must be new to the cracker. I've been the crackers for 50+ years and you just destroyed me. No more crackers and cheese, peanut butter, cheese wise and tomato soup, etc to look forward to anymore. Shame on Mr. Christie, you use to make a good thing.

Used to be great crackers-- not anymore

For the last year & half or so something has happened to these crackers?? What?? They are darker than normal (in some cases terribly dark), tasting burnt
We have gone back to buying other crackers--why should we pay more for these crackers (when before we could justify paying for more for the taste--not now)

I don’t know what you’ve done to the taste of your crackers I have tried for the last three boxes thinking it was me it definitely isn’t if you don’t change them back I will never buy them again.

SINCE THE CHANGE IN INGREDIENTS - THEY’RE DISGUSTING

My family has bought Premium Plus Crackers for as far back as I can remember!! There were NO OTHER crackers out there that could beat the great taste, quality and the value was great!! I was buying the Family Pack of Premium Plus for YEARS as we were eating them so fast!! All of a sudden one day I couldn’t find any on the shelves ANYWHERE! Then I noticed they had FINALLY returned to the shelves!! I bought 2 Family packs and had to toss every single one into the garbage! They tasted like cardboard, big huge holes in them now, no salt even on the salted tops, the texture was hard and nasty! They are truly inedible!! I have switched to the WALMART VALUE brand (that’s as close as I can find to the OLD Premium Plus) and they are only $2 CAD! They are great! I will NEVER buy Premium Plus again and now my whole family and all of my friends buy the Walmart brand as well!! We’re very happy with the cost, value & taste of the Value Brand (Walmart brand). STAY AWAY FROM PREMIUM PLUS!! The ingredients used are cheap and down right DISGUSTING! Why ruin an EXCELLENT PRODUCT?! I don’t know, but they definitely did!

Premium plus crackers used to be my choice but not anymore.

These crackers are not my choice anymore. For years my family enjoyed them but now for some reason the recipe has changed for the worse. I don't know what board tastes like but I feel as though I'm eating board. Some part of them is always burnt. Please bring back the original.
