Cute, but not our cup of tea

@familyrated sent us this @spinmaster Go Glam Nail Surprise and we finally had a minute to test out the product and review it. Packaging was cute as it was compartmentalized and each product had its own punch out, likely hence the "Surprise" in the name. It came with different sizes plastic nails to decorate till one's artistic heart's content with the stickers and glitter polish. To apply the nails, double backing tape in an assortment of sizes were also included. Our daughter enjoyed it as she's a diva like that. As a parent, not sure if we would have purchased this for our 8 year old if we knew the look of the nails that are included in the package.... STILETTOS 🙄, they can't do the simple tasks like buttoning and zipping their clothes 😆. But that's a personal opinion/preference. Seems the adhesive is a good quality as they were easy to use and it's stayed put for the afternoon, let's see if she will want to keep them on for as long as they last. Overall, while we appreciate that we #gotitfree from #FamilyRatedClub and it was a fun thing to do with kids, this product is not for us. I think we'd rather stick to child safe/water based nail polish.

Nail Surprise kit

This was a super cute nail set for any kid who loves nail stuff. There were cute purple press on and tons of stickers and accessories. Plus I loved the black sparkly polish. I put them on my neighbors daughter and they stayed on pretty good for her. The staying power was about what I expected. We had fun though, and that is all that matters!

Great for kids

Who want nails like mama!! I did find they nails were quite small , but would be perfect for 5 and under . The fun in the mystery boxes was great ! We ended up with lots of glow in the dark nails, a scented set and the double sided to to hold them on was quite strong. This would make an awesome gift for a friend at school or cousin!

Fun Nails for Kids

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. My 9 year old daughter was SO excited to receive this product. Her favourite part was opening all of the “surprises”. I like that she was able to put the nails on independently and didn’t need my help. She was a little upset she didn’t get the ones she wanted, but was happy overall with the selection. As a mother, I loved that the nails stuck on with stickers and not a strong adhesive…my daughter wished they stayed on a little better as she lost a couple as the evening went on. Overall, this is a fun little manicure set for kids that won’t damage your child’s nails and is something they can do with a friend without a parent having to help. I would purchase this product again!

Fun idea

I tried Cool Maker GO GLAM Nail Surprise Press On Manicure Set. When opening the packaging, I didn't realize that it would be an unboxing experience -- my daughter loves those. The items were hidden behind easy to open cutouts in fun shapes like a guitar or pineapple in my set. I deducted a star because I found the packaging to be too busy with information. It was difficult for me to find instructions/figure out what to do, and took awhile to realize that the nails 'did things' like change colour or reveal a symbol when wet. In terms of applying, you attach a double-sided sticker to the nail piece than apply to the child's fingernail. It was easy enough to do (though you need to match the sizes together well -- might be better if these items were labelled so you can match them together easier) and the sticker stayed on strongly, but was easy enough to come off when needed. I think these press on nails would be best suited for pre-teens. My daughters (age 5 and 9) didn't like the length of the nails, and felt it was too grown up for them. Overall a fun idea and cute set that works well and was fun to open.

Fun nail spa

Not only is this my daughter’s first nail experience with press on nails, it is also my first. I’m embarrassed to say I was confused at how it all worked when I first opened the package and wondered why there was no instructions, but it was actually easy to figure out. The stickers and sparkle nail polish were all fun to use and decorate. The package comes with different sizes of press on nails to accommodate different age of the user so some might be wasted. I’m my case, none fit perfectly. However, I see this as a toy so it didn’t matter and the kid didn’t seem to care. I googled to see how much these go for at stores but couldn’t find this specific kit. I would buy again depending on price and when all my kids are old enough for this. This will be a nice substitute to craft time together. #gotitfree
