Hollywood Hair Extension Maker has been so much fun for my girls! It is easy to use to create a fun style. It is a cute way to have colored hair without actually having to dye it. It’s great for weekends and other day without school. You can have it straight or one of the many curls. The only down factor to the curls is having to wait 2 hours for them to dry. It’s hard to have patience when you are ready for a new, fab look!

Mess Free Kids Beauty Crafts

I received the Cool Maker Hollywood Hair Extension Maker today and my kids (8, 6, 4) tore into it. The idea (turning ribbons into colorful hair extensions) was too much for them to handle. When we opened the package they were in love with how many options of ribbons there were. I needed to help with the set up and loading it for the first time, but after that, the 8 and 6 year old were able to do it themselves (and they helped the 4 year old). I got this for free but this would be the perfect gift for that age range (8-10) where it seems like all they want are crafts, and this was as hands free from my perspective as it gets. They always ask to play salon and usually want to make nailpolish or soap, so I can see this becoming part of our normal salon/sleepover craft that doesn't involve much mess.

As far as the actual quality, it is ok, the ribbons didn't come out perfect, and holding a curl is hard but it kept my kids occupied for an hour and they seemed happy with the results.

Cool and Cute For Kids

This is very cool. You choose the color and pattern and then you load it up and it creates the extension. Within minutes you can attach it to your hair and you are camera ready, dahling!

Not exactly the result I was hoping for

This was one of the products that I got for free to review! We were excited to receive a package and when we saw what it was we were intrigued... we read the instructions and did everything right step by step, and the result was okay. The machine it included is cute, it basically pulls one thread out of a strip of ribbon. The ‘bobbin’ came attached to each ribbon, and it was very easy to use. The colors were great and it was nice to customize the strands. When we tried to curl the strands it didn’t work- it said to leave it curled and wet for 2 mins after spraying it 8 times 4 ft away, which we did. We even let it sit for 10 mins (2 times).. still the same as before! The end result looked okay in her hair, I think it can be worked with to look better though. We will use it again and see what else we can do since we have it, but I’m not sure I would buy it on my own.
