Much better than expected!!

My husband and I purchased the Kumi Kreator for my daughter for Christmas. She had been asking for one for months and I had been very hesitant as I expected it to be cheaply made and something that would ultimately end up in the trash. I was vey pleasantly surprised when we purchased this. There is very little assembly required, and the instructions for making the bracelets are incredibly clear. My daughter is 6 and she was able to look at the picture instructions and understand how to do most of the required tasks. The string used is very good quality and I do not worry about it breaking. There are fun design diagrams to follow and you can switch up the colours to make your own unique bracelets. You can also purchase additional colour packs to make even more options. The only complaint I have is that the fasteners sometimes fall off the bracelet and need to be fixed. However, overall the Kumi Kreator is very fun and my daughter has enjoyed making bracelets for herself and her friends.

Easy To use

I got this for my 8 year old daughter. I showed her once how to use it and now she is on her own. Very easy to use, and she loves making bracelets for everyone. My only issue is, I can't find the refills anywhere and we are now out!

Hours of fun

I was excited to receive the KumiKreator free in exchange for my unbiased review for my daughter. We started by reading the instructions and to see how to set up the device. It was very simple and we began making bracelets before you knew it. My daughter was able to make several different things and was happy to hand them out to her friends. She also had a sleepover and the other two girls loved the KumiKreator as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a child that loves to do arts and crafts

It's great but it has some flaws

The KumiKreator is supposed to be one of the top toys of 2018 and the commercials had my 7yo hooked. As soon as she saw one she fell in love and asked on repeat if we could go get one. Well, we got one. She was so excited when we were taking it out of the box for the first time. We unboxed it together and went over the instructions together before we attempted to make a bracelet. It took her and I about 15 minutes together to get everything set up for the first bracelet. We got 1/4 of the way through, and it jammed. What do you do? KumiKreator’s YouTube channel said to completely undo what we set up for the first bracelet and then go through the ‘quick’ process of taking the spools out and putting them back in. We then re-set it all up and get 1/2 way through the second attempt of the first bracelet…and it jammed again. So now we have to completely re-do everything again. By the third failed attempt my 7yo is done. She’s disappointed and doesn’t even want to play with it anymore. She leaves the rooms, and I keep on trying to figure this machine out. I give up. I contact the company, and they send me a return shipping label so they can look at our bracelet maker. I was really impressed with the customer service overall. They kept in contact with me over email and then I received a phone call telling me that they were able to fix our bracelet maker and they will be sending it back to us with a Fashion Pack as well that will make up to 24 extra bracelets on top of the 10 that come with the original purchase. I went over all the issues on the phone with the customer representative, and they assured me all was well, and if I were to have any issues, please call, and they will fix everything right away. Well, the ‘fixed’ KumiKreator arrived in the mail with the replacement pack plus a completed bracelet for her. We took it out of the box, I set it up while she watched to cut down on time, and then she made her first bracelet, and IT WORKED right off the bat! My 7yo was beyond thrilled. We made a couple of bracelets with zero issues! So through all this, if you have a problem, please contact support before writing it off because when it works, it is actually pretty neat and very entertaining for the maker.

Really awesome way to make friendship bracelets!

I received this product to try in return for my honest review. I can't tell you how excited I was when it came in the mail!!!! I was OBSESSED with making friendship bracelets when I was about 11 and it was not easy to learn the process the "old fashioned" way......lol!
I have two daughters now, 10 and 7, and I couldn't wait to introduce friendship bracelet making to them. They LOVED this product and are now obsessed with making them, too! The machine is awesome and the design is really clever. It really saves your fingers the trouble and works well. My favorite feature is the bracelet clasps. We used to just have to knot them on and leave them on....... lucky kid today can wear them as a real bracelet.
I love this product and so do my daughters. We highly recommend it!

Crafty Fun for Crafty Kiddos!

Both kiddos really enjoyed learning to use this cool toy. Setup was easy and after a little troubleshooting, they were on their way to creating beautiful jewelry masterpieces! This would make a fun gift idea for a crafty kiddo.

Great Crafting Fun

Thanks to SpinMaster we got to try the Cool Maker KumiKreator Bracelet Maker for free!!! At first look, the braiding machine looked scary to load, but it came with easy to follow step by step instructions. Plus, a link to a video showing how to set it up in case you still have questions. My only negative is it does take longer to load the string on, then it does to actually make a bracelet, but after a few times it became easier and quicker. My daughter loves making friendship bracelets, and this makes the intricate braiding super easy and fast!!!!!!

Mom Tested, Somewhat Approved

Okay, So I tested this bad boy out and my first thoughts were wow this is VERY complicated, definitely don't try it without reading the instructions, you will not figure it out easily. Once I read the instructions it was a lot easier, still kinda complicated but not too bad. Now bracelet quality is Okay/Kinda good. I've been wearing mine for 3 days now and its somewhat starting to come apart. I love that you don't need batteries, VERY helpful. After some getting used to it was much easier, I would recommend this to a mom with a tween/teen. All in all it's fun to use and pretty cool.

Bracelet maker

I recently tried the cool maker kumikreator bracelet maker.the packaging is very nice. I had trouble with the setup.most kids will too.its more complicated than the intended use.it would be great for older children, despite the age recommendations being 8 and up.
