Fast drying sealant

I received the Alex Ultra advanced sealant for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

My first impression is that it came out of the caulking gun as expected. Nothing out of the ordinary however I did notice the consistency is better than other sealants I’ve used. It is smoother and whiter and it dries in less than 15 minutes. It does live up to its claim of “ anti- shrink technology”. I did not have to use the same amount as I usually do with other brands or even reapply after it dried.

As a DIY’er, this is a great product to save yourself some time. It barely has an odour and it provides a 100 % waterproof seal and is mould and mildew resistant so perfect to use around the bathtub and sink like I did to replace the old seal.

I have not tried to paint on top of it yet but this will be useful for my next project! I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect for newbie

Easy to use. One step wonder. Snip the end and let it show you its magic. I was able to fix a crack and paint over it in less than an hour. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and works

I received this caulk free to review. It was easy to use and was the perfect texture. It came out nicely and applied evenly. I used it around my windows and it stopped the drafts and matches my wall.

This was very easy to use! As someone that can be sensitive to chemical smells, I appreciate how there’s little to no odour with this brand. I didn’t need to paint, but it did feel dry after just 15 minutes!

So far so good, we’ll see how well it does long term!

Great product to cover up gaps

I really like this product as it covers up the gaps on my baseboards. It fills it nicely and it is ready to be painted over when the sealant is dry. I would definitely recommend anyone to use it and I also would buy the product again in the future.

A DIYer Dream

As a DIYer I’m no stranger to Dap products I actually use them often it’s a brand of choice in our household they have something for every project and different price points to get you exactly what your looking for!!!

Today I’m reviewing the DAP ALEX ULTRA ADVANCED ANTI-SHRINK SEALANT.

The anti-shrink is a must when filling in the cracks and it really do work, when your in a hurry to get the finishing touches on your house so you can get it painted you don’t want to be having to go back and touch it up because it shrinks and cracks up so to me personally this is the BEST FEATURE.

Drying in only 15 mins so you can get it painted almost immediately. LOVE IT !!! (I’m Impatient sometimes and really wanna get my projects done quickly)

DAP is so easy to apply that for most people you get away with little to no mess but I always end up with a mess no matter what I’m doing because that’s just the type of person I am so another reason I like this product is that it cleans up so easy with a little water leaving your house with a professional look.
Would 100% recommend DAP ALEX ULTRA ADVANCED ANTI-SHRINK SEALANT to all my family and friends ( Any Dap products has my Recommendation ).

Easy to use

I'm very impressed with this sealant. There is almost no odor when applyiny and It dries fast. You can paint it within 15 minutes. It's very easy to use !

LOVE DAP

DAP products are always my go to when it comes to home repairs. I've purchased many of their products before and the quality is always amazing. I got to try the ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant for reall. It's a high performing acrylic latex sealant for indoor and outdoor use! I found this product so user friendly! I'm pretty knowledgeable with home repairs/dyi projects but I think this would be super easy to use for beginners as well. It has no scent and dries so quickly! Overall this product did what it said it was going to do and more!

Great fast drying sealer!

I got to try this DAP alex ultra sealant in exchange for an honest review. DAP is a brand that we have been using for a long time and it has never let us down. I used this tube of sealant to redo the caulking on my shower walls and bath contour. We have showered a few times since then and the sealant has not moved. It dried super fast, didn't shrink and didnt smell as much as other ones we've tried before. I definitely recommend this sealant if you need a product that dries fast and lasts a long time.

Very effective

It works very well. It applied evenly on my roof surfaces
And performed as well as competitive brands. I like that it dried very quickly and is waterproof which is what I needed to seal a leak on my shed roof.
