I used this product to fix up my apartment before moving out and it’s worked fabulously for repairs! It was easy to use in the tube it came in and dried super fast!

DAP Alex Ultra

I received DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. We complete most of our at home projects on our own and are very familiar with DAP ALEX products. This one arrived at the perfect time as we were ready to paint and seal our bathroom. As always, it was super easy to use. The application with our caulking gun was great. It glided on smoothly leaving clean lines. It does not have a strong odour which is huge when you have small kids. The best part is how quickly it dries and was ready for painting! Another wonderful product!

Easy

This was such a great product as it was easy to use and didn’t require re-application due to shrinkage. It was perfect for using in my washrooms around the sink and bathtub as it is mould and mildew resistant. I couldn’t have been happier and knowing that this can be painted over is promising for a multitude of other uses. Overall I think this is a superior product compared to others that I’ve used. Low odour and ease of use were important to me and my expectations were exceeded.

I appreciate that this Sealant cures in just 15 minutes and then you can paint over and apply the final touches as necessary. It's perfect, as I'm always short on time and a quick solution like this is ideal. It's easy to use, no skills or prior experience required.

I am so impressed with the Alex Ultra Advanced Anti-Shrink Sealant. I love that this doesn’t have much of an odor and is so easy to clean up. This makes any household improvement so much more enjoyable.

amazingly easy to use sealant caulk !

I really liked this low odor formula! It's super easy to use . Gave a good waterproof seal in my kitchen . Was easy to clean up any messes with just water n a clean cloth. Could be painted over too in 15 minutes which I also loved about this Dap Alex Ultra product! It's a great choice , I loved trying it out on my kitchen project . I received it for free from Butterly and Dap Canada .Thankyou so much I loved it ! I definitely will be recommending it to others and using it in my future projects at home !

Perfect for the homeowner and DIYer

I recently moved into a new home and the basement was not completed. I’ve spent a lot of time cutting baseboards, wall panels and door casings! Nothing looks better than the finishing touches to all of the mouldings and watching all of the dark creases blend beautifully with the floors and walls. I’ve been using Alex caulking for all of my projects and I absolutely love how easy it is to work with, low to no odor and the lasting results. The DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant is superior to the others that I have been using, but it still offers fast drying, no shrinking, paintable and is super easy to work with. Additionally, I love how it does not catch dust and clean up is a breeze. I would highly recommend this product (along with their other sealants!)

I’m still working on adding more baseboards and caulking, and this product makes it all that much easier.

Works great!

We received DAP Alex Ultra Advanced anti-shrink Sealant in white for testing purposes. We used a caulking gun that we had to apply the product. First cleaned the area that we were using the sealant in and let it dry. Then applied the Sealant to all areas needed. It does take some practice to apply it evenly but cleans us nicely with a wet sponge when wet or scraper once dried. There is some odor but not too strong and it fades fairly quickly. Our bathroom looks fresh and clean afterwards and the Sealant keeps out the moisture, as intended. Glad to have this DIY option available at such an affordable price, and will tackle our kitchen with this product next.
