Quick and easy to use

I found the dap anti shrink to work very well. I used it on my interior, though it can be used both for interior and exterior. It was easy to apply and not as messy as I had thought it would be. It dries very quickly which is great but I havent needed to paint it yet. The instructions are easy to follow and clean up is a breeze.

Easy to use

DAP Alex ultra sealant helps seal minor cracks easily on different surfaces and is ready to be painted after 15 minutes if needed. It doesn’t have a strong smell. I’ve used it around the tub and baseboards, the application was smooth resulting in nice lines. It’s also mold and mildew resistant.

This seal dried quickly as promised and was easy to use. It gave a clean look and because it dries so quickly, we were able to paint over it and move on with our project.

DIY Mama!!

The most recent product in my tool bag is the new high performing acrylic latex sealant “ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant” from DAP. I was selected by Butterly to try this new product out for free, in exchange for my authentic review. We already use a lot of DAP products for our DIY projects around the house, so I knew this sealant was going to be great anyways! I used this product in my stairwell, to seal between my stair runners & painted walls, where previous chalking/paint was chipping away. With this product anti-shrink technology, its designed to obviously shrink less than other products, in turn creating a more durable long-lasting seal that won’t crack after painted like my previous product had – time will tell! This flexible sealant applied effortlessly via chalking gun.

Great sealant for home projects

Received this product free from Butterly in exchange for an honest review. As a novice home DIYer this was easy to use and had great results! There is no smell to it that I could detect, and it dispensed and spread easily. It does tend to come out of the tube even when not engaging the trigger on the caulking gun, but having a paper towel handy solves that problem. It wipes away clean if any mistakes are made and dries down smoothly. I am very happy with it.

Not the greatest of DAP sealants

Paint crackles after painting over the sealant. Doesn’t smooth too well being a thicker sealant. It would also flow out of the tube constantly which made it messy and a waste of product.

Filling in cracks was just easy

I am so happy to try out this sealant. I always thought there was one sealant and the one I'm familiar with is the one I use in the bathroom, but there's actually a different one for walls and baseboards, things of that! I have alot of cracks by my baseboards so this sealant works phenomenally.

Effective sealant

I received the ALEX Ultra Advanced Latex sealant for free from @Dap and @butterly in exchange for my review.

I used this product to seal some small cracks around my windows and it was easy to use.I made a small mess but I was able to clean it up without causing any damage. I love that I can paint over it after only 15 minutes.The application was smooth and everything looked good in the end.
