Perfect for that home project

I was so excited to test this product. It came at the perfect time for resealing around our tub. I was impressed to to see it has a low shrink, durable, and flexible formula that applies smoothly and easily. Another bonus when working in small spaces is its low odour. It claims to adhere to a wide variety of surfaces which makes it convenient for a variety of projects and is mould and mildew resistant which is great for this bathroom projects. Plus it’s affordably priced.

Making touch ups easy!

We are moving out of our place, and after living in the house for 3 years, we needed some touch ups! This was easy and clean to use and we wont have to worry about our rental deposit!

Great product

I received the DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. My husband was really excited that I received this product because he loves to fix up things in the house. A few weeks ago, the kids had managed to break off our towel holder in the powder room. My husband reinforced it, patched it up and painted that area and then reinstalled the towel holder. However, because he had to reinforce it, there was a little gap around the base of the holder and the wall. This was perfect timing as he was able to use this sealant in between those gaps and make it look even again. The sealant dried fairly quickly and I love that it's water resistant since it is being used on the towel holder itself. He tells me this is a really good sealant and definitely recommends it! I'm just glad the gap is gone.

Works like a charm

I received this DAP Alex ultra sealant to review for free and it works fantastic! I found this to be very easy to apply to both the wall behind my sink and my baseboards in my bathroom. In just 15 mins It was dry and fully able to be painted on.
When the caulking dried I didn't notice a lot of shrinkage, but I guess only time will tell! This was very easy to clean up after and also had a very low odor which was nice. I will definitely be using this again when I get my counters installed in my kitchen too.

It’s Ok…

Not a really big fan. This may be an okay choice for a rarely used bathroom or areas that won't get seen much, like behind the toilet. It does work, not great, but okay work.

Séchage rapide

J'ai adorer ce produit comme je suis seule je doit me débrouiller pour faire mes rénovations donc j'ai ça quand c'est simple et efficace ! Le produit a sécher rapidement j'ai donc peut le peinturer ça gâcher le travaille que j'avais fait avant .De plus sont odeur n'est pas si vinaigre que ceux que j'utilise habituellement

This Changes The Game!

I have always been forced out of my house when we did any home projects that required caulking. I am very sensitive to smells and get very bad headaches. I was a little apprehensive to try this product even though it states “low odour”. This product was phenomenal on the scent scale. While it does have some odour to it, it’s not nearly as strong as other brands. I just needed to leave room it was used in, not the entire house! That is the absolute best selling point.
I also love that it dries and is ready for paint in 15 minutes! Makes projects a whole lot faster with less dry/down time.
It also claims that it’s “anti-shrink”, which so far seems to be true. But it’s only been a couple weeks so I can’t attest to that claim right now.
Overall great product, I highly recommend !

Does what it claims

I love how easy this was to use! Definitely does what it claims. It came out really easily and smooth from the tube and was not hard to handle. There wasn't a strong scent to it and while drying their wasn't any dirt or debris that stuck to it. I liked how it didn't shrink after applying, so there was no need for a second coat. It truly dried within the 15 minutes and I didn't have to worry about someone touching it and getting messed up. I liked the way the white looks so I won't be painting it as of now but definitely might in the future. Overall, a great experience with this product and I will definitely go back to this!

Great product for the DIYer

This product was easy to use and effective. As someone who had never used caulk before, I found it simple to use. It is especially great that the product is paintable.
