Great Caulking

Before I paint, I like to recaulk around my windows. It provides extra insulation where the seal might have cracked over time. You will need to get a caulking gun if you don't have one. It is required before using the Alex Ultra. It is easy to use. Once you cut the top off you can start using the sealant. It drys pretty quickly and there is no smell. I wish it came with a cap so I can reuse it. I was given the product for free for my review.

My hubby and I are DIYers! It's perfect that we received this DAP Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant, which is a high performing acrylic latex sealant.

It can be applied to various surfaces and materials, so we decided to repair the sealant on our bathroom vanity countertop. This sealant is easy to apply smoothly and doesn't smell too bad.

After applying and waiting for 15 minutes, I could brush paint without cracking the sealant because of the Anti-Shrink technology. It's been very durable so far, and I look forward to the lifetime guarantee on this product.

Quick drying & goes on smooth

I was thrilled to receive the DAP Alex Ultra advanced anti-shrink sealant to use and review. The timing was perfect as I was redoing several things in and outside of my home. I had a new electrical box put in and I needed to deal around the box so water would not get in behind the box and the siding. It goes on super smooth and dries very quickly. So I can see why it would be perfect to paint. It was great to use and I am thrilled that it doesn't shrink! It did the job I needed and I am excited to use it on other projects in my home . I would definitely recommend this product for your DIY projects.

Perfect for DIY Projects

Easy to use and has minimal odour!

This sealant is a great companion for DIY paint projects, to help cover up edges and cracks effortlessly. It applies very quickly and smoothly, and the great thing is it has minimal odour! It's been a few weeks since I applied it, and gaps are still firmly sealed and also waterproofed. This product is highly recommended!

Excellent product

I received this sealant free from butterly in return for my honest review. After using this Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant I wouldn't want to use any other brand. This was pretty simple to use and the results came out way better than I expected. I used this sealant to reseal my bathtub. I'm glad that it came in white, so the final project looked wonderful. Also, that its mold and mildew resistant was great as it's being used in a wet environment. The precision of the applicator nozzle made it come out really smooth and precise. I did not need to paint, but it's good to know that it could be painted in just 15 minutes time.

This flexible and durable sealant is quick drying and it doesn't shrink. It's ideal to work with since it doesn't crack either, creating a more durable long-lasting seal that can be painted totally without being worried about cracking.
Can be used inside the house or for putside sealing as well ,it's not unpleasant because doesn't have a very strong odour. And it goes on smoothly without picking any dirt. I am definitely going to keep using this one because of amazing benefits.
