Not the best for new babies

I tried this on my face before my twins were born, to test the gentleness. It stings and dries out my skin.
Maybe I got a bad batch but I will not buy again to test that theory. Very perfumy.

Scent is HORRIBLE!

I used to love the old Fresh scent Baby Dove. One day, it was GONE from all local retailers. I was forced to try the new scent. As a result of the gross scent, I've been forced to change the type of beauty bar that I had used for the past 20+ years!

PS--the photo shown is of the OLD one, that I loved!

Good moisturizing soap a little bit expensive that other soaps but I used the coupons for buy one get one free and so it was a really good deal. It doesn't dry your skin like other soaps but isn't as good as body wash though

I'm not a big fan of bar soap for myself. My brother uses this on his baby, but little James seems annoyed by the bar soap. The scent is mild, it is affordable.

Not a big fan of this. Find it so difficult to use compared to the wash. It's difficult enough handling a baby, without a slippery soap bar thrown into the equation.

I also find the scent to be a bit overpowering. My friend agreed and hasn't bought this since we talked about it, she switched to the wash instead.

I like Dove, but just not for me or my friend who's baby I used it on.

Although I liked the smell, it was far too perfumey to put on my baby's sensitive skin. And it's not cheap... fairly easy to find though. I would recommend for children over the age of 3 with no scent sensitivities
