    My cats hate it!

Recently bought a large bag of this food for my three indoor cats. I love the Velcro resealable bag. It seems like a high quality food. Did not find a difference in hair balls. My cats despised the taste of this food. They were always begging for food. They did eat it, but they were not pleased. It would be a good food for obese cats, perhaps.

Good quality, seems to work fine!

Generally, I prefer the round kibble shape to the triangle, but quality-wise, this food is as good as the other Hill’s Science Diet variations and my cats don’t seem to mind the triangle at all. I’ve been feeding this only to one cat, who has long hair and frequent hairballs. Since I already use a hairball aid, he’s gotten better, but still sometimes has hairballs.

Since mixing this with his urinary vet food, he has not suffered any hairballs, so I imagine it must be helping. He can sometimes be a bit strange about new food, but wolfed this down right away, so he seems to really like it!

Like the other Science Diet bags, this has the modern ‘velcro’ style reseal closure, which is great for anyone who can’t store the bag upright. As always, when switching food for your cats, take it slow and mix it in gradually to avoid tummy upsets.
