***!!!DO NOT BUY LEAPPAD PRODUCTS!!!***

Avoid Leapfrog products for your children!!! I purchased their products for my children to use because I thought they were a reliable company…after all they are supposed to cater to children, right? Well, today one of my computers died that had their software on it. When I attempted to go to their website to download the software for my new laptop, it was missing?!? After spending an hour searching and calling their ‘Customer Support’, I discovered that the electronic products I purchased through their company are no longer being supported or sold by them. Oh, and guess what? The devices are now rendered USELESS!!! Toys that my children play with, can no longer be used because they have a lock on the screen that states the only way to use them is to go to their website and download the software…..the software that they removed from their site and refuse to let us use!!!

Now, my children have useless devices and I have spent hundreds of dollars on these toys through this company. Furthermore, after speaking to both customer service AND an executive responsible, I am told the same thing over and over, it’s not supported, then complete silence. Basically, tough luck for spending your hard earned money on our products, but now you can’t use them. Even worse, is the disappointment of my children who enjoyed playing with the toys and can NO LONGER USE THEM. When asked what Leapfrog intended to do to rectify the situation, they said unfortunately there is nothing they can or will do. No replacement, no sending me the software they hid, not even so much as a coupon to help alleviate the cost of being forced to purchase new toys for my kids. THIS COMPANY IS A DECEITFUL SHAM!!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON LEAPFROG PRODUCTS!!!!!!!

Save your money

While the Leap frog name is well known, this is one product I wish I wouldnt have spend my money on... it's apps work well and definitely stimulate the child however, every single app and video has to be PURCHASED. I truly wish I would have just bought a tablet and saved myself the money. A tablet would have been the same price, i could have uploaded videos for free and most apps are free unlike with this leap pad.

Mini computer

My son loves his! He thinks it is a mini computer. There are so many games you can play. Very easy for toddler to navigate. It connects to internet and even has a parental setting for safety. One full charge will lasts days.

Just dont

Bought this for my two year old to help him with his learning it last maybe 3 days. He dropped it on CARPET and half of the screen stopped working. I mean if your going to make a kids product you have to make it kid friendly. They're ruff. Also if you don't have WiFi you are VERY limited as to what you can do on it. I would never recommend this to any one. Save your money.

Leap Pad

My daughter received this as a gift for Christmas. At first she loved it, but now it just sits on the shelf while she uses my husband's tablet. It's a really good system and very durable, but you are limited to only the games they sell, and the games themselves are kind of pricey. She grows tired of playing the games too quickly to invest that much. If I had a choice I would have bought her a regular tablet so we would have the option to download free games from the play store.

Could be better

Purchased this for my 3 year old daughter. I thought I could download apps from an app store(play store or itunes). You can only use leapfrog games with this. No YouTube, not even the kids version. The leapfrog tablet itself is durable and the games are pricey but decent.
