Why are kids obsessed with these?

Okay I understand these are popular but what a waste! These are expensive and my daughter was bored with this after 2 minutes. Has no value to this toy whatsoever!

Not really sure how I feel about them.

My daughter is 5. She is obsessed with getting LOL dolls and watchin the unwrap videos on youtube. For Christmas this year i (not knowing any better or what exactly I was looking for) got her two! A big that came with a girl doll and a bunch of punch out spots where all the accessories were. SHE LOVED IT!!! And then a spy capsal thing! It came with a boy! She has other boy dolls so I never thought anything about it. Well come to find out this boy doll has genitals. And I just wanna know why? The girl dolls have panties and bras painted on them. So why dont the boys have underwear painted on? Seems a little ridiculous to me.. Considering the majority of the kids wanting these toys are smaller children. Why put that on a CHILDS TOY?? Someone. Please. Enlighten me. TIA! ✌

Its not worth

I always wondered what its in it as its booming the market but man for the price you pay, you hardly see anything in it. Its accessories hardly fit to it. I feel like its not a worthy toy.
