Great doll with defects

I purchased 2 of these dolls last year as a Christmas gift for my 3 and 2 years old grandkids. They both LOVE this doll however, after a month 1 of the dolls head got stuck and wouldn't turn and kept making a clicking noise & a couple months later the same thing happened to the other one. Spinmaster was great on offering a replacement doll for both dolls. The replacement dolls both still works.

History says this doll needs some work

While I wanted to badly to like this doll, I just could not. Three times we have had this doll replaced because she would lock up and stop working. The latest was the gap under her chin and how she made a knocking sound whenever her head moved and her voice and movements just did not align correctly.

While this fourth doll has lasted longer we notice that she quickly uses batteries causing us to have a large amount of back up batteries ready for when the doll wears out. When she has fresh batteries she is a fun doll for the short time we have her working. She has a feel that mimics real baby which on occasion has startled people when seeing the doll being pushed in the shopping cart by my daughter. She really does have a very life like appearance and the added voice adds the the perception.

She is a fun doll who interacts with her accessories on occasion. You have to push the bottle into her mouth, it does not set in there tightly, but it is fun for my kids to hear her say "yummy" and make sounds like she is eating from the spoon. While she is a fun learning toy based on our history I just do not feel the value is there to justify the high price point.
