This was the only prenatal vitamin that didn't encourage my raging morning sickness. Relatively tasteless, no aftertaste. It has a bit of a dry texture, so definitely can't be taken without water.

I have used Materna since the day we found out about the lil one on the way and its been great for me. I find the pill size is average in comparison to other multivitamins. I chose Materna since it was recommended by friends and health care provider to use this prenatal vit. I have seen some complaints about the price, and speaking as a mommy-to-be on a budget I find the price reasonable if you shop around to find the best price. Pharmacies tend to jack up the price so I choose to purchase them at a larger store with advertised lower prices. Also, every box of vitamins I have purchased included a decent value coupon for the next purchase which I appreciated and used every time. I plan on continuing to use Materna into breastfeeding, Im already stocked up!

Used this multivitamin before, during, and after my pregnancy (while breastfeeding). It is an average sized pill for a multivitamin. I have seen horse sized calcium pills and this is no where near that size. And it is a pretty pink color.
Yes, it is a bit expensive..about 17$ Canadian at Walmart but with a coupon you can get it for about 13-14$ which is about what you pay for the no name brands. The bonus is that it is a trusted brand. You can also get samples from your OBS just by asking.
I did find that during my pregnancy I had to take the vitamin with food or else I felt nauseated...but I believe that was directly related to hormones and not the vitamin itself.
