I love McCain cakes ! I've always prefered the chocolate to the vanilla though, somthing about the cake kinda reminds me of a sponge. Not sponge cake...A sponge with icing on top, that being said if it's in the house I usually eat some but I don't usually but for myself.

Out of all the McCain cakes the vanilla is the best. Not so much for the cake part, but the marshmallow topping icing is the best. It is sweet, but not grainy. It's like a cloud of heaven in my mouth. So good.

This cake isn't my favorite out of the McCain Deep 'n Delicious cakes, but it is decent. I found it kind of dry: much more dry than the chocolate or the marble ones. But the flavor is quite nice: a subtle hint of vanilla. Perfect along with a cup of tea or coffee. I also tried it with the recipe for the Vanilla Lemon Coconut Cake, and I think that really adds a lot to this cake. Makes up for it being a little bit dry.

This is a great cake to have in the freezer for unexpected company!!! it has a nice mellow vanilla flavor and this cake makes a great dessert topped with a little bit of fruit!!!!

This was always in my house as a kid. I absolutely loved it!! It was hard not to eat the entire thing lol. So yummy! I prefer the chocolate one over this though. I'm not a huge icing lover, but this is great! It's like a whipped icing but it's overly sweet and it's just right right amount to cover the top of the cake.

For a frozen cake that you can buy in the frozen food aisle of your grocery store this cake is pretty good. It's wickedly unhealthy though! I love the great vanilla taste and it's so moist. The icing is a bit marshmellowy and a bit "meh" in my opinion

I remember this cake mostly from when I was a kid but the taste and quality has remained. The commercials they used to advertise the McCain cakes were one of my favourites growing up. I love that they are frozen because cold cake is my absolute favourite! It has a nice moist feel and it doesn't taste artificial. It's hard to resist eating the whole thing. The price is okay, should be a little cheaper because it's not fresh. Great quality from McCain as per usual!

I love McCain Deep n' delicious vanilla cake. This cake is yummy & moist & I live that you can use what you want & freeze the leftovers & it still stays moist & fresh tasting!

I've like this cake since I was a child. Although I think it needs less cake and thinker icing. But, that's cause the icing is my favourite part. It's simply delicious.

Love, love, love it! If you close your eyes when eating it, you can pretend it's a fancy gourmet cupcake lol! Amazing frosting that is thick and yummy. Cake that is light and fluffy. You can't go wrong with this treat. Thank you McCain for a wee bit of heaven!
