    Current favorite

I'm a Japanese food lover and instant noodles is a treat I enjoy every week. I came across this pack in my dollar store and decided to give it a try (for $1 you can't go to wrong)
Preparing was easy, fill water to line and microwave, wait a minute or two and pour in added sauce packet.
I found it decent on its own by I love amping up the flavour with a splash of hoison sauce and a tiny amount of honey. I also add in some frozen Asian veggies often or some cooked shrimp.
The noodles are not the regular ramen noodle but I actually prefer this type of noodle for a microwave noodle.
I'm slightly iffy about the dehydrated mushroom or whatever they are and tend to take those big pieces out before pouring in the water.
Again for $1 this is my current go-to instant noodle I eat about once a week and enjoy.

    Interesting new find

I got this for $1 at Dollarama and wow was I surprised at how good it was! I was expecting something like instant ramen but this was so much better in flavour (I did add a few drops of lemon juice as well) I really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken one I got but did not find it spicy (if you are spice-averse; in fact if you like it really hot you will probably have to add in some of your own chilli sauce/flakes) I like that 1 container has 11grams of protein and 35% of your daily iron (plus some Vit A & Calcium) They are wheat noodles so not suitable for gluten-free folks; but I did like the shape flat and not too thick (I prefer thinner) The flavour packet is a liquid vs powder which was nice and there is actual shitake mushroom pieces (not too many but some which is very cool) as well as some other veggies like cabbage. There are 520 calories in a container so something of which to be cognizant if you monitor your intake. I will probably be buying a few more for sure to keep on hand - I think these would be perfect for work lunches or days where you don’t have time to cook dinner. I would say these are probably the best tasting dehydrated/quick noodle dish out of all I have tried and definitely recommend giving them a go! :)
