Way too chalky :(

I'm a fan of chocolate (including chocolate milk, milkshakes, and ice cream) so I was very excited to try this! Unfortunately, the consistency is SO chalky - I may as well have made the shake myself with powder, it really tasted like it hadn't dissolved fully. I actually had to drink this in two sittings because it was not enjoyable. The protein content is great, but for the flavour I'd say save your money (and the environment) and buy the powder to mix your own.

tasty shake

I received a free sample from chick advisor. I gave this sample to my husband to try in his lunch at work. He enjoyed the shake . His only complaint was that he had to shake the bottle well to get good flavouring . It makes for a great snack with lunch.

Not too sweet

The chocolate protein shake is not a thick consistency for a shake which surprised me. The chocolate flavor tastes very watered down. The good thing is that it has 30 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar which is nice since I find that most shakes have less grams of protein. I wouldn’t want to drink this on a regular basis but as a quick fix I would probably have it again just for the extra protein. I got this product free for my honest review.

Not an authentic chocolate taste

Premier Protein Chocolate Shake didn’t taste like authentic chocolate to me. It does, however, have a smooth taste and is filling. I drank it in the morning and it curbed hunger for several hours. I refrigerated it before opening, shook it and then drank it, thinking this didn’t taste like I had expected. If I could change two things about this protein shake, it would be the chocolate taste and the sucralose, acesulfame-potassium sweeteners, which leave a lingering sweet taste in my mouth. Great for meal replacement

I got this product for free to try and in return give an honest review these 30 gram protein shakes are really good for filling up your stomach when you're on the go I need protein definitely a great meal replacement they're super convenient due to the fact that their pre-made and the taste of the chocolate was very authentic which I actually enjoyed the only thing why is it was a little too thick compared to the other flavours but other than that I found it was very good I will definitely be using this product future as well as I would definitely recommend it to friends and family

Unnatural ingredients

So I received this free in exchange for my honest review #igotitfree! The chocolate flavor was good, not too chalky or strange like done protein drinks. It was sweet birr not cloyingly so and went down pretty good. I really like the amount of protein in it and think it may be a great addition to a smoothie (chocolate banana anyone?!?) I also like how easy it is to take with you in the morning, its super portable and a good option for meals on the go.
My concern is with the ingredient list. Just like a lot of canned protein drinks, this once is full of preservative, gums, and stuff I normally don't choose to ingest. I'm unsure how a health drink can be labeled as such with so many unhealthy additives. Due to that, I will never purchase this product.

Not a fan

The chocolate premier protein shake is not my favourite that's for sure. I found it way too sweet and had a bad after taste. It does its job for a protein shake but I would not personally purchase it. Not my cup of tea.

Nice chocolate flavour, very sweet...

I was so excited to try out this new protein shake! Advertised to have only 1 gram of sugar and include a variety of minerals and nutrients I thought this would make for the perfect drink on the go. The chocolate flavour is nice and smooth however the was too sweet for my liking and left my mouth with a strange, almost bitter aftertaste. A few sips in and I was done. Upon further investigation of the label I see it contains a lot of ingredients that I would not normally select in my diet including artificial flavours. Unfortunately I would not recommend and would not buy.

Same old same ol protein shake

I received a sample of this protein shake for free in exchange for a review thanks to ChickAdvisor and Premier Protein.

This shake basically tastes the same as all other chocolate protein shakes. It has a bit of a chalky texture and the chocolate taste isn’t quite chocolate. I likely wouldn’t purchase this flavour again.

Just average.

I haven't tried a lot of different protein drinks, but, when I was younger, I used to drink chocolate flavored "Boost" drinks as a meal replacement. Those were good. Let's see how this one is.

I noticed from the label that this has only 1 g of sugar, so it doesn't really taste sweet. I would have liked it to taste sweeter. I do taste the chocolate flavor, which I like. Though it kind of tastes like the chocolate is from a sort of powder that was mixed into milk to create the drink. Even after some vigorous shaking, it doesn't seem well mixed. I do think the drink has value and works as a refreshing protein drink before or after a workout, but I feel that this is more average. It doesn't really stand out to me in any way.

I would recommend this drink to a friend who is looking for a low carb/sugar drink that has a decent chocolate flavor. This can be appropriate for diets and as a supplement to workouts.
