It is ok but not always great

I found this product from the magazine and decided to give it a try! As I have mild Rosacea so I just hope this gel can help me while my face has some outbreaks, it does help a little but really not much.

    Good OTC rosacea treetment

Once you get past the slight smell of sulfur, everything else about this product is good. I've tried multiple treatments, but this is one I keep coming back too. Slightly drying, so a good quality moisturizer is a must for follow up.

Not helpful for Rosacea, but locks in moisture.

I didn't find this particularly helpful for reducing redness/rosacea, however I did find that it did a great job of locking in moisture, the gel setting into a kind of protective layer over your skin.

    Prosacea working for me!

I had heard about this gel on TV a couple years ago but could never find it. I stumbled upon it in my grocery store 4 weeks ago and had some extra money and decided to try it. $12.99 for a tube that lasted me about two weeks (at twice daily usage). My rosacea would make my face warm, dry, almost scaly some days with horrible acne and I was at my wits end.
After two days using Prosacea my face became smooth. I no longer has "heat flares" (when my face would heat right up).
After a week, I had no more acne issues and the redness was becoming ever so slightly lighter. I'm four weeks in now and I will continue to buy this product. My face is still smooth, redness is slowly getting lighter and my heat flares are becoming less and less. It took a few years for my face to become this bad, I'm not expecting a cure in a few weeks.

    Mattify your oily skin

Although this is a gel for rosacea, I found that it has a mattifying effect which is what I use it for. If I use a serum/moisturizer that leaves my skin tacky, I'll wait about 10 minutes and then apply the Prosacea on top. My current combo is The Ordinary's Niaciminide (which I can feel afterwards on my skin) and Prosacea and I love it. The Prosacea changes things so I feel as if I'm not wearing any product on my face (which is a must for this very oily skin girl). This is fairly easy to find at the drug store. I got mine at Shoppers Drug mart for about $15. It is a very small tube but you only need a tiny amount so it will last awhile. Once I'm out I will definitely repurchase.
