Not what I needed.
I have very sensitive teeth and thought I would try this toothpaste out instead of sensodyne. It was a mistake this made my mouth and teeth hurt more then they were before.
Started having tooth sensitivity at about 8 weeks pregnant, saw an add for this and decided to give it a try since it was "on sale" at my local pharmacy. Worked for about 2 days with me brushing 4 times a day..... Waste of almost 5$
I am very unhappy with this product. I don't know if it used to be a good product, and their just coming out with much better ones now, but I had heard so many wonderful things about sensodyne and how this particular toothpaste would make my mouth hurt so much less than normal, but that is NOT the case. Yeah, at first it started out okay, and helped a little bit here and there. For the lesser painful things, it worked. But the moment I tried to have anything too hot or too cold, I went right back to being in pain. And not to mention the fact that any relief that you may get from this product, will get a lot worse if you stop using the product all together. Took a long time for my teeth to recover from that one. Point is, I wouldn't try it if you wanted things to get better in that mouth of yours!
I love Sensodyne toothpastes. They are the only toothpaste I use because I have such sensitive teeth. One day my husband went out and grabbed toothpaste and came home with this one. Upon first use I didnt like it because the mintyness just wasnt strong enough. After a couple uses I started getting gross scum in my mouth. I will nit purchase this toothpaste again
I really did not like this toothpaste. I have extremely sensitive teeth to the point that I cannot drink anything with ice in it without a straw. I used up a full tube of this toothpaste with the help of my husband. Neither of us found that it did anything for us. I absolutely hated the overly chemical taste and the gross, abnormal tingling sensation that lingered in my mouth and on my tongue long after brushing. The toothpaste did absolutely nothing for my sensitivity. It also did nothing to keep plaque away and I brush my teeth religiously, twice a day!! Worst toothpaste I've ever tried. It was just disgusting. I was so happy when I finally finished the tube and was throwing it in the trash. I would never recommend this to anybody unless you like the taste of chemicals.
I have sensitive teeth and have been using regular Sensodyne toothpaste for a while. However, I wanted to try this product because of the "ProNamel" part since as a kid I brushed about 7x a day and started brushing off the enamel. Well what can I say? I didn't even finish the tube. It did not make my mouth feel fresh but instead the gel texture and flavour of the toothpaste made me want to puke every time I brushed my teeth. On top of it all, I spent a bit more buying this toothpaste than what I am used to. Needless to say, I will not be buying this product again.
I found Sensodyne not only to be too pricey for the quality and freshness but also it also gave my sensitive skin a reaction around my mouth leaving the skin extremely dry and irritable. Needless to say I won't be ever using Sensodyne again.
I prefer the regular Sensodyne toothpaste. This product made no difference for the extra cost. It seems to target the tooth not the gums. My gums are receding and the regular Sensodyne is great for the sensitivity. I did not like the consistency of this product either. Too liquid.
