    Not the worst

It took me forever to even play one round of this game because it never seemed interesting but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It’s kind of fun to see people get worked up and trying to persuade each other for “materials” needed in the game for them to. I’m sure it depends on who you play with and other factors but I just couldn’t stand how long the game was, felt like it was never ending.

    Best gateway game

I have always enjoyed fun party games such as Catchphrase but we decided to try something new. This game was so much fun and it was easy to teach. We play it regularly, even people who are not huge gamers like it. We have now played other games of this genre and are always on the lookout for others.

    My favourite board game!

This is my all time favourite game! It’s like a combination risk and FarmVille. It’s fun for young and old. A little pricy. But worth it. My son started playing it at 6 years old and Still loves it 3 years later.

Friends of ours had been raving about this game every time we got together. We went online and read a bunch of reveiws and decided to purchase our own game. What a blast!! This game doesn't get old. We are a family of four so this game couldn't have been more perfect for us. We enjoyed the strategy behind it, being settlers and attempting to build our own holdings. The trade asoect of the game is really fun too!!

Ever since I heard about this game online and saw it played in a video, I couldn't wait to try it in person. I'm so glad I managed to convince my friends to try it at a board game cafe once because they all fell in love with it and it's our go-to game whenever we have gaming nights. Many of my friends have since bought the game for their homes, too.

While the rules itself are a bit hard to get down, it's no more complicated than Monopoly and is definitely more fun. You don't have that 'wasted player syndrome' that you do in Monopoly once one or two players dominate the board, as there is always a way to cause an upset, and as long as you play smart you can always be in the running.

The box contains everything you need to have an amazing time. All the pieces and decks are nicely organized, the rules are clear, assembly is quick, and the game play is smooth once everyone gets the general gist of things (playing once through is the quickest way to learn and it definitely helps to have at least one player who knows the rules; it's rare that you'll need more than a couple of games to understand everything and by then you should be able to understand how to strategize).

I love this game so much I even found the online version and play often there, too. It's even easier online since you can see exactly how many visible victory points they have, how many resource cards are in their hand, and how many development cards they have as well as what's been used.

I bought my set for $30 at a convention and most stores will sell it for under $60. If you're looking for a great game that doesn't get boring and can be played with all ages, this is it. Just find it somewhere else for purchase.

I love this game! Whenever I go home for the holidays, I will challenge anyone who wants to play with me. The game is fairly easy to pick up, and for those who are forgetful (which even includes me, even though I have played this game SO many times), this game comes with a helpful card, color coordinated with your player's color, so that you won't forget how to use your resources (this will make a lot more sense if you knew the game!)
This game is a true classic. If you are unsure if you will like this game, just walk into a nearby board game cafe: I guarantee that they will have this game. The strategy and (occasionally) backstabbing involved makes this game so much fun, and it doesn't take as long as some other board games. (I am looking at you Monopoly).
A typical game can go for 30-40 minutes, but it is so much fun, it barely feels like long at all. Unless you are playing with players that take FOREVER to take their turn.

This game never gets old to play. It plays up to 4 people but if you get the expansion, you can play up to six. My family and I play this game all the time; it's our favorite one to play. Settlers is originally a computer game that gave you the option to play online with others. This game is about collecting resources needed to build roads, houses and hotels. A great strategy game.

I definitely recommend this game for a small group. I really enjoy Settlers bcause it is a game which involves thinking and strategies but also has some aspect or chance. It can be a long game but is, in my opinion, less time consuming and frustrating as mononpoly since it doesn't involve counting out money. The game itself is expensive but lasts a long time and can provide hours and hours of fun.

This game gets a little rowdy! It is great for 4 people (6 with the expansion pack).
It reminds me of monopoly because you want to build the most properties.
The idea is to gather the most supplies to build the biggest empire!
Too much when people mess with each other by taking supplies or blocking
    one another.
