This stuff changed my hair after using it once. So moisturizing without weighing your hair down like others do with silicones and other stuff. Shea Moisture provides natural hair care at a great price (they also usually have coupons out for it) ... amazing quality

I absolutely love this Shampoo! It leaves my hair feeling soft and clean! And the price point cannot be beat! Pair it with the conditioner and mask for a really good moisture boost!

Not up to spec!

I received the following 2 items as a sample in exchange for a review.

Shea Moisture Shampoo: I tried this shampoo on 3 different occasions and each time was unsatisfactory/disappointing. Texture is like boiled PayDoh. Not effective; had to wash hair again very soon. Smells like cheap plastic. Looks bland in color. Applies on with quick and much lather, but it's all hot air!

Shea Moisture Conditioner: I used this conditioner right after using the shampoo (above). It was worse than the shampoo, if you can believe it. Texture was like whipping cream. No shine or gloss effect after drying hair.

Needless to say, I will avoid this brand's shampoo and conditioner when I'm buying hair products.

Really didnt do much

Got this product for free to sample and i dont love it. Without the conditioner used together it actually dries my hair out. and after the conditioner still not as smooth/moisturizing as i like. very mediocre.

It’s very milky, you have to give it a good shake before you use it, but you don’t need much to get a good lather. I love the smell of it, and when you follow it with the conditioner your hair is super smooth. But, without the conditioner, I feel like my hair is dry, poofy, and frizzy. I like it enough that I will be giving the other shampoos in the brand a go.

SO GOOD for dry hair!

This shampoo has treated me well! it's so sudsy and moisturizing to the hair! I will definitely be buying this as my main shampoo! I just wish they made the conditioner as thick too.

Smells so good

My daughter has wild dry curls nothing worked till I found this and gave it a try. It smells so good and perfect add of natural oil to tame friz and moistuze dry hair. A little goes a long way. This is my favorite shampoo now and everyone in the house uses.
