#tryShuUemura This stuff works well to remove makeup. Alittle goes along way. I found it didnt make my skin oily but gave me some moisture. It had a slight smell which wasnt over bearing.

A Luxurious Cleansing Oil

When I was selected for this campaign I was excited to have another cleansing oil for my evening skincare routine. During the summer months, I tend to prefer an oil to remove any sunscreen and makeup since I find it to be a lighter option in my double cleanse process.

The Ultime8♾️ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil is infused with eight precious oils which will help to renew skin quality, leaving it moisturized and feeling soft and smooth with less visible pores. These oils formulated using Chinese medicine and with beauty oils from all over the world claim to have the highest skin care efficacy.

I massaged it onto my dry face to remove any sunscreen and make up. Once I was sure that most impurities were removed I added a little bit of water until the oil completely emulsified. The directions did recommend not to double cleanse afterwards, but I still did just to make sure that the oil can’t leave a residue which could potentially break me out.

Overall, I was pretty satisfied with this cleansing oil. It did a great job of removing makeup and sunscreen and it also made my skin feel soft and cleansed. I’m not sure if I would purchase this product in the future as it is a bit on the pricier side...a 150ml bottle retails for $54.00 CDN. But if I ever did want to splurge on a great cleansing oil, this one would definitely be worth it.

Great for removing makeup

I received a sample of Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. The Ultime8 cleansing oil did an excellent job of breaking down dirt, oil, and makeup. I especially liked using it to remove waterproof mascara. It has a pleasant scent and it left my skin feeling soft, supple, and moisturized. It's definitely a nice item to splurge on, if you can afford to add it to your skincare routine!

Love it

I was hesitant at first as I've never used a cleansing oil, but I was very pleased with this product. It left my skin feeling fresh and the oil came right off!

Unnecessary product

I was happy to get to try the Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil - but I just didn’t see much effect from it to add it to my beauty routine. The scent is nice and it leaves your face nice and smoothe - but I wouldn’t ever use it to remove makeup. Too oily for my face and around my eyes

Very clean!

I have used the cleaning oil before but not this exact product. This cleanser is so good, it cleans so well but doesn’t dry out your skin. It feels more moisturized than other cleanser I have used with this brand.

Strong fragrance

The oil worked well for cleansing but had an overwhelming scent. I had to rewash my face after with different cleanser to dissipate it. My face also remained oily after washing

The oil has a light scent which I didn't find overwhelmingly strong like some other facial oils.
It easily removed my makeup, even my waterproof mascara, with ease.
My skin felt moisturized and soft afterwards. Although it was a great cleansing oil, I wish I had more than a one time just sample to gauge the true benefits over time. Overall though a great product from the one time I used it.
