Congratulations must be given to MR Theodor Tobler and MR Emil Baumann who in 1907 in Bern, Switzerland created the marvelous Toblerone bar that we still enjoy today. Although created in 1907 it didn't hit the shelves and become available to the public until one year later. The triangular shaped chunks are designed to represent the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps and are instantly recognizable when spotted on a sweet shelf in any store. The name which suits it so well comes from a combination of Theodor Tobler's sir name and the word torrone which is Italian for a kind of nougat.

I love history and finding out how such wonderful products came to life. This product is very delicious and oh so satisfying, also very addictive.

Toblerone is my all time favourite!!! Just thinking about it makes my salivary glands overactive. Not another choco name has made it close to Toblerone as far as nougat is concerned....Love it so!

I love pretty much everything and anything chocolate but Toblerone has to be in the top 5 for me! I get a massive bar of it every year on christmas and it doesnt last long and no, i dont share it! lol Mmmmmmmm..... so yummy with a nice smooth texture of the chocolate and tasty bits mixed in there to! Sometimes they can get stuck in your teeth which isnt overly pleasent but still a delicious treat!

This one is SO good! Could not wait until I recently got my braces off to eat one. :D Always put them in Christmas stockings.

Such a great chocolate!! It has the right amount of nouget and nuts and melts in your mouth! I love it and always keep some stocked in my fridge (tastes AH-MA-ZING cold!)

Haven't been able to look at this since an unfortunate incident with a stomach virus. However, I remember not being overly fond of them. The chocolate part wasn't bad but the bits inside were never my favourite.

The combination of nougat and caramel enrobed in velvety chocolate makes this chocolate stand out from the rest! With an original name like Toblerone, it is sure to peak some interest in the candy isle of your local supermarket.

I only need a little piece of this to satisfy my sweet tooth all day.

The texture of this chocolate is amazing evry bit is like a surprise. It comes in a very fun shape unlike other chocolates. I recommended this to my boyfriend and now he cant get enough of it.

What can i say about toblerone besides YUM!!! they are sinfully delicious! Well worth the cost.. i want one now :)

This chocolate is a sinful treat! I'm one of the most honest people you will ever meet and I remember being in grade 2 if you passed your times tables our teacher gave us a few pcs of this, I was having trouble so my friend gave me her test to copy off of!! Yes this chocolate is that good!! Lol
