General Cleaner, but won't eliminate bugs!

Vim Cream Cleaner ... this is called Cif in the United Kingdom and it's widely available, you'll find it in the kitchen cupboards of most households. It's a cream based cleaner that's got a touch of lemon in and it can be used for almost any surface, from cooker hobs to the bathtub, you need a generous amount on a scour pad to scrub away tough stains and grease and grime. I gave this stuff only 2 and 3 stars because while it removes tough stains and grease and tough to remove dirt, it won't sanitise to kill 99.9% of bacteria, it's not a cleaner that kills germs as it's more of a detergent based product. In the age of Covid_19 and Strep A infections disinfectant based products are also needed after using cream cleaner.

Smells good.. not the best for cleaning

I used to use this a lot when I was much younger. I didn't mind it as long as you scrubbed well. And wiped it well. If not, there's a yellow tinge that is left behind.
The scent is ok, lemon scented as it states.

Not so sure but willing to try again

It smells great and cleans good bit is very gritty and leaves a residue that needs to be thoroughly rinised although i am willing to try this product again just because sometimes things don't work out the first time around

Unreliable

I purchased this product as my mom uses it all the time. I found I had a tough time getting dirt and stains out. And it has left permanent dirt marks in my tub. Its very unreliable.

Have to clean after use

At first I like how it came out a light cream not to thick. It was a really light scent. It clean my counter tops and kitchen sink amazing.
But when I came back after it was done drying I noticed there was a fine sand like residue left behind in my sink. I then felt my my counter tops, and those too felt like there was a layer of dust. So i had to then go back and wipe everything down to get rid of the residue left behind. I will not be buying this again.

Not a big fan of vim because I always find it leaves a bad residue wherever you use it to clean. It takes twice the time to clean up after using it. Hopefully they can change something in it.

While vim works okay I've removed it from my cleaning bucket. I've found it's less effective than just baking soda & vinegar which is a lot cheaper. Vim is outdated for my needs.

I have been using this forever! Though I don't like harsh chemicals the scent of this is really not bad and I feel like it really cleans my tub - especially after my dog needs a bath!!

The lemon sent is very pleasant. It isen't harsh on my hands when using it. It dosen't leave any chalky residue once the washed area is dry. BUT it dosen't remove baked on food without some elbow grease. It's an average cleaner in my opinion.

This product works really well on our sinks and bathtubs. We have hard water because we live off of a well so a lot of grime gets on our sinks, tubs and faucets every week from water alone, not to mention all the other stuff that gets on them every week from regular use. So I really enjoy this product. And the scent is not bad either considering I don't like the scent of lemon too much. So overall, I would totally buy it again!
