Thoughtful and quick service
I was able to navigate the site easily and find the groceries I needed. I think some of the prices were a bit higher than what I would find in store for certain items but overall the delivery was quick, right on the dot and I was assured I would get help as soon as possible for any issues with product or date I may have.
I would try to use curbside again
The curbside pickup from Safeway was fast, efficient and fun. I didn't have to wait too long to get my groceries in my trunk. The process online was super quick.
I would recommend this service for people with small children, weakened immune systems. I am a shift worker and i wouldnt avail of this service. The voila program is wonderful and great convenience plus vaule for your money
I would probably use again
Decided to try Voila as I got a voucher discount code. It’s easy to sign up and the website is easy to navigate and find what’s on sale. I added items from all over including bakery, and frozen depts. I was able to get a pick up time on the same day as I ordered at a time that is convenient.
Received an email update that there were some items not in stock so was not charged for them.
Pick up was easy, just pull into designated voila spot and call the number. It took over 10mins of waiting to get my groceries, and I was the only one there. The order was correct, nothing missing. Some of the items were expiring sooner than I would have liked, like the bagels.
Great service
I used the Sobeys Voila service for the first time and was very impressed with the whole experience! Ordering was easy on the app and I was kept informed of any changes or substitutions in my order.,,I even got extra large eggs for the same price as large as they were out of stock! I will definitely be using this again!
A painless way to shop for groceries.
It was a complete pleasure to just pick up my groceries without ever walking in the store. Excellent now that Covid is a problem. Will use again in the future.
Good but don’t really need it
It was a nice process but I’d rather go inside and choose my own groceries, but it wasn’t too bad at all. I would recommend to some friends that like this method better.
Happy that Sobeys is offering curbside
I am happy to see Sobeys has finally joined the curbside game as I really enjoy shopping there. Overall it was a good experience but a few things could use some work. Firstly, when I arrived I had to call the store 3 times before someone answered. I’ve never had this happen with another curbside service, maybe they were busy but they really should have someone designated to this. I was the only car parked for grocery pickup and it still took about 10 minutes for my groceries to come outside. Finally, they put my groceries in paper bags and charged .15 cents per bag. This is fine but they used about 10 bags for groceries I would have fit in 4. I do like how user friendly the app is and there are many pickup slots available. It would be nice if they had free pickup time slots or if it was free over a certain amount. They have a good selection on the app and was able to get everything I needed. Also they didn’t need to substitute anything which I was really happy about. Overall I’m really happy with the convenience of this service and will definitely use it again.
Easy to navigate
I thought the sobeys curbside service was a great addition to the sobeys brand. I was a little disappointed that the sobeys near my house didn’t offer the service and I also wish there was a way to select from the weekly flyer to choose items. I had a plan for what I was planning to buy based on checking out the flyer and I was disappointed to not be able to navigate the flyer and choose from directly within the flyer. I think that would make the service very competitive.
Ended up a great experience
I was so excited to go pick up my order and when I followed the instructions once I got there a guy came out told me he doesn’t have any order information for me. I told him I put in all my information and credit card info in and it said my order was placed and he said he would go check on it. He came back apologizing saying he sees an order but it didn’t go through for some reason and was an error and said there was nothing he could do for me today but he will help me place an order for tomorrow. I said I would think about it as it was a far drive for me. I thought about it and I ended up placing my order for the next day and this time my order worked and it was a really nice and an easy experience. I was really happy with the fresh fruit that was chosen for me! In the end I was happy with my purchase and the convenience of it!
