Lightly scented and luxurious

I have been using this cleansing oil sample of Shu Uemura before bed. I have combination skin with my T spots tending to be oily and have acne, whereas the rest of my face gets dry. I used this cleansing oil on my whole face, and emulsified then washed off with water. The oil itself is lightweight and felt really nice on the skin. It also has a pleasant scent to it, not too strong or artificial. I was worried that since it is an oil, it would cause breakouts, but the mornings after using the product, I ended up with soft skin that wasn’t oily at all! And no breakouts! What I think could be improved about the product is perhaps the packaging. This bottle has a little hole where you can pour the oil out but the bottle itself isn’t squeezable so you have to shake it. It is also hard to read what’s on the bottle because the text is small and mostly in Japanese. I couldn’t find any instructions in English describing how to use it, so I had to go online to Sephora website to find it. Turns out you can buy this size bottle at Sephora - but I’d recommend going with the larger pump format for ease of use, if you’ve already tried and know it works for your skin.

Smells Lovely and Works Like a Charm

It is so absolutely nourishing and hydrating. I've never owned a cleansing oil that has felt so light and comfortable. Only a little is needed for each time I use it and my skin feels and smells amazing!

It was good

I was happy to receive a sample size to test, but I don't feel errs that it was enough to effectively review the product properly. From what I could tell it was very good, had a nice feel to it and light scent.

Soft skin!

I really loved how this product left my skin feeling smooth and soft with no oil residue whatsoever it went on nice and easy it didn’t sting my eyes it had a pleasant scent and you get a lot in the container considering it’s an oil and you only need a few drops. I’ve never used in oil cleanser before and I’m very pleased with it.

Effortlessly cleans away dirt and makeup.

Oil cleansers are one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. It felt so nice on the skin. It had a lovely, light fragrance that wasnt overwhelming and it disappeared soon after applying. It cleansed the skin and stripped away oil and makeup easily. It didn't leave behind any residue and it left the skin feeling soft, smooth and healthy.

Nice product

I got the tiny sample pack to try, it's leave my skin so smooth. It's easy to remove waterproof mascara, just rinse to clean. It smells good. I highly recommend!

Not at all what i was expecting

Received a little 50ml bottle to try from my survey company, first off you could not read anything on the bottle, looked like just a plain brown bottle till I got it in the light and could see some black lettering. Now that being said could not read the directions on use but went ahead like i normally do and put a few drops on my damp hands and proceeded to clean my face like I usually do. It had a mild floral scent that was not overpowering which I liked. Cleaned my face nice but I kind of felt a bit of residual/tightening on my skin but it did make my facial skin soft. I'm not convinced this is for me and i do believe they should change their bottle or attach all the information for it separate tag.

Amazing makeup remover

Shu Uemura Ultime 8 sublime beauty cleansing oil is a beautiful product. It removes makeup very effortlessly so you don't have to scrub and irritate the skin. It then leaves your face feeling super moisturized, clean and silky smooth. It also has such a pretty clean scent to it. I highly recommend.

A Little Oil Goes A Long Way

I was lucky enough to get a very generous 50ml sample of the Shu Umura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil in exchange for my opinion. I have combination skin and don't wear makeup all that often however I am outside walking a minimum of 3x daily. I've tested using this in replacement of my micellar water and my witch hazel to see if it will work for the daily uses I would need. It exceeded my expectation. A small dime size drop cleaned my entire face. You do need to use some water to ensure it spreads more evenly (yes oil and water together I kind laughed at first at those instructions). My mascara removed and all the dirt on my face removed too. I followed up with my serums and moisturizers are normal. The product is worth trying if you have not ever tried it. You will be as pleasantly surprise as I was!
