The DIY Cool Maker Hollywood and Party Pop Refill kits could be a little better. The party pop kit is to create double buns and a ponytail. The ponytail worked well and is super cute. The buns, on the other hand, didn’t work out so well. We tried using the 2 extensions it shows in the instructions and it did not cover the bun makers very well. We added more hair and it still didn’t look right. The Starstruck kit is for side swept hair and a braid crown. The elastics were missing, so we couldn’t create the braid crown. It does look like it will be cute. We have to get some elastics that will work with it. The side swept hair is simple and easy to do. -

Hollywood Hair Extension Maker has been so much fun for my girls! It is easy to use to create a fun style. It is a cute way to have colored hair without actually having to dye it. It’s great for weekends and other day without school. You can have it straight or one of the many curls. The only down factor to the curls is having to wait 2 hours for them to dry. It’s hard to have patience when you are ready for a new, fab look! -

We were so excited to play the Grouch Couch game by SpinMaster! It is recommended for ages five and up, but would be great for preschoolers with adult supervision. (There are small pieces.) The game doesn’t take very long to play which is great for parents and kids alike.
Grouch Couch is pretty easy to play without any complicated instructions. Simply roll the die to see how many treats you can put on the couch, then push the remote. Will Grouch Couch eat your treats? Will Grouch Couch spit out lost goodies? Take your turn and find out! Be prepared for some giggles with the lost item coins representing things like socks, underwear and ice cream.
Overall this Grouch Couch is a fast, fun game. It has been played daily!

We were so happy to be able to test Spinmaster’s new Candylocks doll. We got Candy Mary, and she is so adorable! Her scent isn’t overwhelming at all. That was probably my biggest worry. She smells good! She came with some hair chalk and a hair extension. How fun!
Her fluffy hair is fun to play with and style. The long length leaves so many possibilities. You do have to be gentle, as the hair is more delicate than that of a regular doll. We like making buns. Twists and ponytails in her adorable green and red hair.
Candylocks dolls are a great addition to your doll collection. Candy Mary immediately got her hair styled and met other dolls upon arrival. They are great for the imaginative play time I encourage daily.
This doll was a hit here. Candylocks dolls are now added to the Christmas lists. We also have a friend asking for one now after playing today!

My girls love having boy dolls to include in playtime with all the girl dolls. They love to make these boy dolls talk and have their own personalities. They are not very heavy, which makes them easy for carrying around and going places. -

I wasn’t sure what to expect with the Luvabella doll. I was eager to give her to my girls and watch them interact. Their first impression right out of the box was that she was so cute and realistic. We really like that she can learn and interact to enhance playtime. Luvabella has a cute dress and can fit in other clothes we already have at home. We would love to see more clothes available in stores! She can interact with her toy, bottle, and pacifier perfectly.
The cons would be that the motor is kind of loud. You do get used to it, though. The doll can also get heavy when carrying around all day for a smaller child.

I am pleased with the Twisty Petz Babies! They have been a big hit with my girls. They love playing with them, and then turning them into bracelets when on the go. It is the perfect way to take them along and not lose them! It worked out to be great to have them to play with with while waiting for food at a restaurant. My girls also love using Twisty Petz as necklaces for their baby dolls. It did take a few tries to get the hang of transforming them back into pets, but now they have the hang of it. The animals themselves (pandas and kitties for us) are adorable. They shine beautifully in the light. We are looking forward to collecting all of the Petz! -

It’s hard to carry after a while. The doll is cute and looks so sad when you make her cry. The lip color came off pretty fast, and did not hold up as well as it does on other Baby Alive Dolls. -
Honey Nut Cheerios
Honey Nut Cheerios is the best out of all the Cheerios flavors. It is the only one that my whole family enjoys and asks to eat, even for a snack. It has less sugar than other cereal for kids, and tastes great. Love it!
