I have three kids. 9, 11 and 13. All three really enjoy this toy. My youngest thinks he is super cute and likes to feed him and the "hot potato" dragon fire multiplayer mode game. My middle likes the roaring and fire sounds and my oldest loves the dragon dance mode.
There are 7 different modes for this little guy. From a free play kind of thing to a multiplayer game mode, dance mode, copy mode, and other games. Lots of options to play other then just a cute electronic pet.
They did have a few complaints. Sometimes the modes didn't work how they expected. Like the roar back mode wouldn't catch my son's roars and the dragon trainer mode and follow the alpha seem very similar to them. They all three still enjoy playing with it. And they all three have different favorite things to play. Plus they can play together with the dragon fire mode so no one is left out.
This toy is very cute and fun for most age groups. The hatching part is fun and did not take a super long time. This toy is played with daily and I expect to be for a long time.

This was fun! All of my kiddos like this and not battery operated! My kids are 8 to 12 years old boys and a girl and all 3 made bracelets today. They really liked how the machine looks while making the bracelet and that it is hand powered so no batteries or cords to mess with.
Pretty simple set up. The oldest and I had a little harder time getting the string up into the top part then the younger two but our hands are bigger. The younger two had no problems. They can set up a new bracelet in no time!
This came with enough to make up to 10 bracelets depending on how many spools you use each time. So simple. Easy to follow instructions. None of my kiddos had any issues doing any of the parts needed to make these.
My middle said they should add some more color choices because he is a boy and isnt too into the pink so we checked that out and there are other color option in the refill packs. Which means I'll be getting refills soon to make some red and black bracelets.
Very fun for variety of ages and for boys and girls!
